We are currently seeking TWO dependable and motivated Warehouse Shipper & Receiver to join our Abbotsford team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a warehouse within a dynamic, team-oriented environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Shipping & Receiving
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify packing slips and inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately for outbound shipments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space.
• Inventory & Documentation
  • Assist in inventory counts and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records and documentation.
  • Follow company procedures for labeling, handling, and storing products.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Ensure safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements 

• High School or GED equivalent is required.
• English (required)
• High reach and narrow aisle forklift experience is required 
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse and/or delivery role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and warehouse software.

Pay Range:  

• $23 - 24/hour

Job Summary

The Controller reports to the Director of Finance and oversees the full accounting cycle and provides accurate, timely financial information to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

·         Financial reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

·         Accounting operations: Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and fixed assets.

·         Month-end and year-end close: Manage close schedules, review financial results, investigate variances, and ensure all deadlines are met.

·         Budgeting and forecasting: Coordinate annual budgets and periodic forecasts, monitor performance against plan, and explain significant variances and trends.

·         Internal controls and compliance: Establish and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures, and ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements.

·         Audit and tax support: Coordinate external annual audit, prepare supporting documentation, respond to auditor inquiries, and support tax filings and other statutory reporting.

·         Cash flow and working capital: Monitor cash flow, banking activity, receivables, payables, inventory, and other working capital accounts.

·         Financial analysis: Provide management with clear, actionable analysis of profitability, costs, margins, risks, and overall business performance.

·         Systems and process improvement: Enhance accounting processes, reporting tools, data quality, automation, and the effective use of financial systems.

·         Team leadership: Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff, assign responsibilities, and maintain appropriate review and approval processes.

Qualifications

·         Current CPA designation.

·         Eight to ten years of progressive accounting experience; cost accounting experience is preferred.

·         Proficiency with accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.

·         Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

·         Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

·         Experience supervising and mentoring accounting staff while serving as a financial advisor to senior leadership.

·         Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary

The Accounts Receivable Clerk reports to the Controller and performs the accounts Receivable functions and demonstrates a focus on the Customer while maintaining a safe, respectful, and productive workplace.

Responsibilities

Daily the Accounts Receivable Coordinator will:

• Process customer payments and record transactions in the accounting system.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Communicate with customers regarding billing issues, payment delays, or discrepancies.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve disputed transactions.
• Maintain detailed and organized AR records and documentation.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare AR reports and present collection statuses to management.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve account issues.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of AR or general accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR processes.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft D365).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.

Working Conditions

This position works in a standard office environment, it is a full time in office 8am to 4.30pm position and requires concentration on the task at hand for most of the day to minimize errors.
